| It all began about nine years ago in town situated in central Poland Piotrkow Trybunalski. Together with influx of free techno culture on area where we lived, we had an opportunity to see first fire performances wich were done by fire artists from countries like Holland, Czeh Republic etc. We got impressed straight away by spectacularity, tribal character and magic atmosphere of “dance with fire”. | ||
| First got infected fireshow Simon ”Stafa” and shortly after Igor, next to the group joined Lukasz, adding to the group last lacking element. By then our group offically started to use name “Agnihotra” wich comes from the name of ancient, Indian rituals of evocation spirits of fire. Initially we were performing only for friends and on small free parties, but after intensive training sessions while new skills and confidence came to us, we made decision to come out of underground. | ![]() |

| We had done it successfully. One of the our first serious fire performance took place on the ceremony of inauguration of “International festival of art of action-Interakcje” in our town where artists from all over the world performed their works. After very warm reaction of public on that event, full of enthusiasm we went ahead and started to be invited to do fireshow more often on this kind of events. Simultaneously we began to travel across the Europe for various alternative music festivals, where we had chance to meet fire artists from all over the world and then exchange with them knowledge, experience and mutually learn from each other. That possibility was very inspiring for us. And also then we realized that we presented quiet high level of technical skills among other groups in fire art. | ||

At the same time we started also cooperating with group of musicians(drummers etc.) One of them was Przemyslaw ”Glowka” Glowacki very talented musican from our town. Our collaboration although short was very fruitful what we could see on the “Festival in Landscape” in Inowlodz.Where we had performed fourty minutes fireshow together with above mentioned musicians playing on African drums, Tibetan gongs and other ethnical instruments. |

| Particularly after that fireshow we convinced ourselves that in order to achieve the most spectacular effect of dance with fire, live music is essential. Apart from big festivals where we performed,we were also involved in more or less commercial events. One of them was fashion show "Paper sphere" organized by people from "Academy of arts in Lodz" in local gallery in Bielsko Biala. We also performed on countless number of events across Poland and Europe. Over the years of jointly performed fireshows and long training sessions each of us has worked out specific and original style in the art of dance with fire. And then summer 2003 had come. | ||
| Me Lukasz and Simon "Stafa" decided to travel with group of friends to London.Simon only for holiday,me for longer time. On the early beginning of stay in U.K. we had been performing on the streets of London in places like Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square as well as on big number of parties. But after Simon "Stafa" came back to Poland and I engaged in job, as a result our common artistic activity as “Agnihotra” stopped. | ![]() |

| However Igor and “Stafa” did not stop their own activity in Poland. After quiet long inactive period of time what was caused largely by lack of time I started to think about renewal activitiy in London within new form. Reason of that was flow of many new ideas as well as willingness of realization an old dream about creation of something extraordinary in art of dance with fire. However I knew that would be quiet difficult alone. | ||
And then completely by accident I met Lukasz Szyszka a photographer as well as very talented musician with over decade experience of playing on African drums. After few meetings, long conversations and exchange of views we decided to create something together. We also made decision that we will be active under the same name
